These two weeks have been termed by the Chinese as "Qing Ming Jie" where most families will wake up very early in the morning and gather together at the ancestors' tomb to "sao mu". On Sunday morning, together with my parents, sister, as well as my future brother-in-law, Jeff, we went to pay our respect to my grandparents. The place was along Aljunied Rd....wow! There was really a lot of people....traffic was extremely slow. The slight drizzling worsened the situation on the road! well...at least it was quite cooling! hee! After that, my sis and jeff rushed off to work while my parents and I decided to go to parkway since my mum had been longing to go there and shop! hmm...i really feel there's nthg much to shop at parkway leh! dotz!
oh yeah....papa treated mum and I with seafood plater at Fish & Co! Hey hey...OUR favorite! My family has strong preference to dine at Fish & Co..Yup...papa ordered fresh oyster too! Yucks...i dun like raw food!! Below are pics taken at Fish&Co...well my intention was to only to take pics of the fresh attention-seeking Mr. Oyster! Oyeah...i also took video of the whole process of how u should eat fresh oysters which was demonstrated by my dear father..haha! But i'm not gg to upload here as i dun wanna get into trouble!

Hmm....i feel that in terms of the quality of food (in particular the freshness of ingredients used, taste and presentation) served, it was the same as the other branches which I have patronized before. However, i feel that the service's a bit lack...as in becoz there wasn't enough staff on duty based on my observation, so the "attentiveness" on the customers was not there. For instance, when my dad placed an order for seafood platter and requested it to be served first while he decides on his other choices since we are all very hungry. So..the young waiter was quick and walked off to sent in the order. However, he did not follow up and check on us to see if we wanted to place more orders. Instead, my dad had to ask another waitress to help us place an order...and the waitress looked very puzzled although she nodded and seems to know wat she's supposed to do! To be more assured, my dad requested the previous waiter to place the order instead. Well...so get wat i mean....? But however, there was a tall waiter who left a very good impression in me. He was very attentive. From far, he saw that our plates were full of shells so he brought new plates to replace for us. And he's pretty busy too! Before i left, he greeted me "have a nice day! Hope to see you again!" which i think is super nice. This kind of service is excellent!
Den on sat, i met up with chun and manda to kind of celebrate manda's belated bday. Treated manda to some kind of high end jap restaurant at vivo city! Three cups of dessert cost 20 bucks...oh well oh! The ambiance was not exactly very comfortable....and the ice creams was just normal with limited variety....duh! So we had dessert first before we head down to SuperDog to have our main dinner! haha! SuperDog is a more expensive version of fast food restaurant which sells mostly hotdog buns, burgers and fries. I quite like the layout..and also the type of furnishing it uses. It projects a very modern image...it's just simple and nice lah! I ordered Bacon Chicken Ripper set meal which comes with fries and a 16 oz freshly brewed lemon tea. The bacon chicken ripper was super nice though the skin of the hot dog was very crumbled and slightly unappealing! The crispy bacon toppings and slightly sour tomato puree-dices adds an extra "crunch" and mouth-feel! You can find this particular blogger's food preview at http://youth.sg/blog/2006/11/19/food-review-superdog-vivocity/ which i think would be useful if you wanna find out more on SuperDog! Her website also includes the SuperDog's menus!

It was my virgin visit to Vivo City...oh well oh...i'm a mountain tortoise can! Vivo city is really big man! So spacious! I luv the peak level where it's opened and surrounded by beautiful scenery! Hmm....romantic neh! haha! I kind of miss Sentosa when i was there..hmm! yup...wld love to go vivo city again...anyone interested?! hee!
Hmm...okay...so i'm quite free now...so decided to make a collage using the pics i have taken! I hope that this collage will mark the end of my student life and ....mark the start of a challenging working life ahead...hope my life after 2007 will be a smooth-going yet happening one!! Wish me all the best okay! =D
