Let's ZOOM in . . . . . .
. . . . . . and some rice kuehs known as "Beng Tou/Kueh" (the ones in pink) Papa says it's very delicious. Not many people are capable to make the skin as soft like this and with very tasty, frangrant rice fillings. The fillings are often make up of glutinous rice, salted prawns ("hae bee")and peanuts.
These are my favourites known as "Dao Sa Pia". I never fail to buys them whenever i go to this event! I used to like the salty ones, but now i think the sweet ones are also quite nice! These are from Fragrance ("Xiang Wei")
These are for morning breakfast! Eat them with fresh milk and that shall boost my glucose level and energise me in those early mornings! These are products from Nestle . . . . . .
This is the one i mentioned jus now. Vico 3 in 1 Chocolate Malt Drink.
Sauces from Kee's: Char Siew Sauce to cook with pork or chicken, Sweet and Sour Sauce to cook with chicken or fish, and Sambal Belacan Chilli to cook with kang kong/bbq fish or sotong or even jus eat it with rice! Yummy~!
Flosses from "Xiao Tai Lang": Pork, chicken, fish and laksa fish flosses. I find the laksa fish floss something new and special. It tastes quite nice but i find it too mild.
This is the brand which mummy always buy to cook chicken rice. If you like your chicken rice not to be too oily but yet can accept it to be slightly salty and more flavoured, I will recommend that you use this brand. Can add half to 3/4 packet of mix to 2.5 cups of rice if you dun want it to be too salty.
Some ingredients for tonic soup . . . . . .
This is for lungs . . . . . .
This is for cough and sore throat . . . . . .
This is for to boost the appetite . . . . . .
After the food fair, mummy and me went to century square for dinner. Every time i go to tampines, i always like to go the Wang Cafe at Century Square basement for a cup of coffee. Firstly, it is served in traditional coffee cup which i like it very much coz it gives me a feel like i'm back to the 60s. haha! Secondly, the coffee is very well blended with the correct sweetness, bitterness, mouthfeel and aroma. The coffee bean used is well roasted and every sip i take, i can smell the fragrance of the coffee. Ooo~! NICE~! It's worth the price~!
Haiz...i spent approximately 60 SGD at this year's food fair SG Expo. Well it's considered little as compared to two years ago..haha! As long as mummy's happy, my family eat the foods with joy, 60 SGD in exchange with the happiness of my family, it's definitely worthwhile and i have no complaints about it! Ok...that goes my weekend....tmr's back to work again...!

This was the pair of shoes i bought from "Step It" @ Bugis Street. Hey manda, I chose this pair of Turqoise coloured shoes over the black one nehz! =P
Was having a headache after shopping around bugis street for the whole afternoon. So we decided to head down to bugis junction mall. Since both of us was tired after shopping around and when we finally get to a more vacant washroom, we decided it was time to go back after the toilet break! We were famished but becoz we were tired, we bought some food back to eat instead. We came across this shop "Chewy Junior" which sells puffs that have delicious toppings. What's special about this snack is that it has a chewy texture like mochi which explains it's shop's name. This snack is between doughnut and cream puffs, can't find a specific catagory for it..haha! One of my colleauges actually bought this for us and since i know it's nice, i bought a box of six for my family to try. Yi chun, whose a dessert lover like me also bought a box back for her brother!
I feel that this new dessert is not damn nice but it's not bad, considering that they are not stingy with the toppings and the ingredients used are of good quality. I think it's worth the price. If you are someone who like very sweet and creamy desserts, do try out this dessert. Visit their website at http://chewyjunior.com.sg/index.html if you are interested to find out what other flavours they have!
I'm happy that my family likes them, even my dad gave a thumb-up for this dessert snack! It was indeed worth the money and time to carry them from bugis all the way back!

This is the t-shirt i bought from STITCH @ Cineleisure. Quite surprised that i like this design..haha! Coz i dun usually like colourful designs! =X "Love is Reality"
This is the t-shirt i bought from a push cart @ Far East Plaza. I bought it with the risk of me unable to fit into it...luckily i could when i tried it at home. hee! I also bought another one with the Hakkinen Beer Design, which my dad thought was a FOC gift from Hakkinen with purchase of their beer. Omg~!
I simply like t-shirts! Guess I'm back to my "poly-student" image again!
These are the belts i bought from Far East Plaza. Hmm...the middle one supposed to be dark brown in colour but coz i took the pic using my sony ericsson hp, it appeared to be black. The first two are meant for the waist and i planned to wear them with the tops i bought from Thailand! yeah yeah! The third belt i simply meant for casual wear with my black pants and jeans.
Hmm...how i wished i'm slim and able to fit into all the beautiful clothings! Haiz! Though i have frens telling me that i'm not fat, i looked "ok" blah blah...but i jus dun have the confidence to wear clothes like mini skirts, leggings, any tight-fitting clothes! So i'm often dressed in t-shirt and jean with heels to lengthen myself..haha! And i dun have many colourful clothes. Maybe it's because i know i suit such style and yesh, THAT'S MY STYLE!
