Wong Kok Char Chan Teng 旺角茶餐厅 @ Parco Bugis Level 2

It's sunday again and tmr will be the start of another week! Before the start of another hectic week, am going to relax for a day and free myself from thinking of work.

It's been long since i last went out with mummy. Her birthday's coming..sis and I am thinking of buying watch for since she has not bought one for a long time. However, she insist she dun want coz the one she's wearing is still working. Anyway, all mothers are the same... always save for their children. We can forgo the pressie, but definitely not the celebration part - birthday dinner.

So mum accompanied me to Guan Yin Temple at "Si Ma Lu". Has been thinking of leaving my current company to pursue better job opportunities or further studies or career switch. Am a little dreadful of the company culture and "stagnant-ism" that I'm facing. I seems to be a little lost now...dunno what is my next stage, dunno what to pursue next...totally lost my sense of direction in life. That's why i decided to seek god's advice...hopefully she can bring light to my world of darkness. Drawn a lot and the interpretation seems to tell me that i should remain in my current company. With endurance, i will be rewarded with the type of treatment that i deserves. And there will be people around me who will be most willing to extend their help to me. Well...should i follow the advice?? =/

So after praying, we went to shop around before heading back to Parco Bugis for lunch. Tried B1 but there dun seems to be any food which attracts me. So in the end, decided to bring mum to patronise 旺角茶餐厅 at level 2. It's my forth visit there if i din remember wrongly. I love hong kong food~! Especially iced yuan yang nai cha! It was the first visit for mummy. I assured her that the food is nice there and she seemed very excited about it..especially the menu full of appealing foods and plenty of variety for her to choose. So she decided to go for the soupy stuff while i go for the sinful ones. Ordered hong kong style wonton mee soup, porkchop burger, french toast and iced yuan yang milk tea. My trip will not be completed without having french toast and yang yang milk tea~! Love the sinful french toast~! Even mum agrees its super nice that she din reject when i asked her to have my share~! haha~! It's so much better than the other char chan teng in Singapore which i dun wish to mention..oops =X

Refer to the pic below for the food we ordered... ...

The Pork Chop burger is nice but the meat is too small a piece and it's a pity the toasted bread is too dry. Needless to say, it's a thumb up for the french toast. Right cripsy texture, buttery aroma and smooth peanut butter spread and sweet caramelic syrup the perfect sauce to go with~! Perfect~! The wonton mee soup is very light and the hand-made noodles has the right texture and taste! Delicious~!
However, the service by cashier is not very good coz there is no eye contact with the customer during payment and was chatting with her colleauges despite attending to customer. This is something i hope the cafe can improve on!

Do patronise it if you are someone who likes HK food~! =D

No lost no lost.... You can remain at the same position now while searching for another path. Try things here and there to see which one suits you then slowly go for it. Some thing may seem no future but you won't know until you try it. It may be different for you, you may be the one who makes this "no future" thing shine!!! Must jia you ok. Friends will be there to help you brainstorm stuffs when you need someone...
